Louis Elliott
I was born in 1952 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.
I spent 7 very happy years in Africa. The climate was tropical with summer storms and cool dry winters.
My family had six people in it and we had tropical fruit trees and monkeys in our garden.
My family migrated to Australia in 1960. We visited Perth, lived in Melbourne and then settled in Adelaide. We moved house four times in five years and my schooling was interrupted.
I studied at Adelaide University for five years after high school and taught at Strathalbyn in country South Australia for five years.
I have lived and worked in Tonga ( two years ), Japan ( two years ) and taught at Salisbury High School, West Lakes High School and Thebarton Senior College.
I have two sons and have been married for twenty four years.
My youngest son has Autism which is a disbility affecting communication, relationships with others and
the ability to look after himself in daily life.
I am an Assistant Principal Student Services and I have a very interesting and challenging job.
I have been very fortunate in my life and have experienced many things over the last fifty three years.
